Currency for the Caribbean.

The Eastern Caribbean Dollar (XCD; symbol EC$)  = 100 cents is the main currency in the Caribbean. Although the US Dollar is widely accepted an used as legal tender. Notes are in denominations of EC$ 100, 50, 20, 10 and 5. Coins are in denominations of EC$ 1, and 50, 25, 10, 5, 2 and 1 cents.

The BIC (Bank Identifier Code) or SWIFT code are made up of 8 or 11 characters and should mirror the following format;

Caribbean BIC or SWIFT code Format: BBBBCCLL or BBBBCCLLDDD

B = Bank Code (Only Letters)
C = Country Code ‘BG’ (Only Letters)
L = Location Code (Letters & Digits)
D = Branch Code Optional (‘XXX’ for Head Office – Letters & Digits)
