Is my money safe with CascoFX?
CascoFX trade as Casco Financial Services Limited which holds client money in segregated client accounts with Royal Bank of Scotland. All funds sent to us are held in CascoFX segregated accounts that are only used for client transactions and are independent of the Casco Financial Services Limited business accounts this is to ensure your money is always safe and can not be claimed by creditors.
How long does it take to make an international money transfer with Casco FX?
As with all major currencies such as Sterling, Euros and US Dollars they should receive your currency exchange the same day based on normal Bank cut-off times. With all other currency exchange transfers it can take up to 48 hours. Casco FX uses priority payments for all international money transfers, which is the fastest and safest type of bank to bank transfer for sending your money abroad.
How do I pay Casco FX for my currency exchange?
Casco FX take currency transfers seriously and only accept funds by bacs, chaps or wire transfer. Your bank transfer can be made from your bank and can be done online via your own online banking system or by visiting any branch of your bank. Clients with phone banking will also be able to use this to instruct a bacs transfer. CascoFX do not accept cash or cheque deposits.
What is a value date?
Settlement date or value date is when your foreign exchange trade is available for delivery. Casco FX requirements are s to be in receipt of sold currency one day before settlement date or value date before releasing funds to your expected party. This is called DVP (delivery versus payment)
How do I set up online account with CascoFX?

What do I need to open a Corporate FX account?
For all corporate FX accounts we provide terms of business and Account Opening forms to be filled in along with a clear copy of all passports for majority shareholders over 25%, a bank statement and utility bill will speed up the process. Please click the link on our homepage to start the process.
What do I need for a Private FX account?
Private FX account is a simple process, If you click on the link on our homepage it will take you directly to the online applications file. From there you follow the step by step process that allows you to enter all the usual documents required to open an account electronically. However, if you feel more comfortable you can complete the required documents by hand and fax or email them back to us, along with an up to date copy of your passport and utility bill. Please ensure all documents are done correctly to help speed up the account opening process for both parties.
