TorFX Currency Exchange Services
TorFX is one of the most well-regarded money exchange companies in the United Kingdom. In fact, they are often regarded as the best company in the United Kingdom. They appear a lot in surveys. On this page, I want to talk you through my experiences of working with TorFX.
If you ever have the pleasure of working with TorFX, you will know right off the bat that they are an easy company to work with. Their system that they have in place to make transfers is simple, and their customer service team are brilliant. One of the neatest little touches that the company has in place is the fact that their number is a Freephone number. It may not seem like a lot, but most other companies out there do not have this type of number in place. In fact, they have premium rate numbers which can lead to rather hefty charges.
TorFX have absolutely no commission scheme in place. There are zero fees for using their system to send money abroad. Now, you may think that they will ‘catch you out’ on the exchange rates because of this, but they do not. In fact, their exchange rates are incredibly competitive. They are far better than any bank out there, and they are better than many of the other international money transfer companies that you deal with. There are a few companies better than them, obviously, but I tend to prefer working with TorFX because they do try and make everything as simple as possible for their clients, and the difference in exchange rate is not all that much anyway.
Another of the brilliant aspects of TorFX is the fact that they genuinely are there to help everybody out. There are a number of currency transfer companies out there which claim to deal with individual senders, but really just exist for businesses. You don’t ever feel as though you are treated any differently through TorFX. It does not matter how much money you send through their system, you can always feel confident knowing that you are being quoted the best possible rate around, and that you are going to get treated like the valued customer that you are.
Money transfers tend to be fairly quick. You can quite often predict when the money is going to land in the international bank account too. Transfers within Europe, or even to America, should land within a day or two. You could, potentially, be waiting up to three days if you are looking to send elsewhere in the world. Sure, it is not blazingly fast, but this is the quickest that you are ever going to be able to deposit money into an international bank account, short of heading abroad and depositing it yourself of course!
I honestly have absolutely no hesitations in recommending TorFX. Whether you are a business or an individual user, you will absolutely love using their system. You will save a considerable amount of cash in comparison to a few other websites out there too!

Big savings!
To test torfx claims, we transferred equal sums from a Euro account into our UK Stirling account. Both transfers arrived the same day but the nett amount received via torfx was noticeably larger than that received from the Euro Bank. Our regular future transfers therefore will obviously be made with torfx.
