CMC Markets (Currency Management Corporation) is a long-running foreign exchange business which began life in 1989. In 1996 CMC Markets launched the world’s first online forex trading platform, which has evolved and developed over the years to offer its Next Generation web-based trading platform, which is also available on mobile and tablet apps.

By focussing on one forex trading account, CMC Markets have ensured it has all the functionality any trader could need including access to in-depth charting capabilities, pattern recognition scanner, client sentiment monitoring and price alerts to name but a few of the features. While CMC Markets uses news and data from Reuters and MorningStar, its own research and analysis is fully integrated into the platform, providing timely, relevant information from its own in-house team of experts.

The mobile platform of the Next Generation forex trader account, meanwhile, has almost identical functionality as the web-based version. Additionally, each version of the app – be it for IOS systems or Android, have been customised to take advantage of the features available on iPhones, iPads and other mobiles and tablets.

What CMM Markets has also done is integrate its education area into the trading platform in a section called Trader Development. This means you can search for advice and ask questions on any platform of your CMC forex trader account.
